Arts Entertainment Events Council Venue
Built in 1907, Kingston Butter Factory had been a hive of activity in Logan for many decades before falling into disrepair in the early 80s. Recently, this heritage site had been given a new lease on life as an ambitious arts and cultural centre, so we were honoured to be asked to develop the brand strategy and identity.
The mission for the venue was bold: to be the place that brings the tight community of Logan closer together, collectively learning more about one another and the world around us through the interpretations and perspectives of the artists that share them. As a cultural venue, The Kingston Butter Factory won’t always conform, but it will always excite.

A Family of Brands
Map Creative continue to work closely with the City of Logan as we continue to transform a ‘mosh pit’ of logos into a family of brands with meaningful language and pin-point accurate strategies. The below logos show how we approached the three key arts venues ensuring alignment and consistency yet individual and distinct.
Living Museum
The Living Museum of Logan is a sub-brand venue which is located within Kingston Butter Factory. Map Creative designed the two brands in tandem to ensure the relationship between the two venues was consistent. These projects form part of our larger rebrand project for the City of Logan.
