As a bunch of keen surfers we frothed at the opportunity to develop a brand identity for the newly established Balong Balong Surf Resort located on the Indonesian island of Sumbawa.
The brief was to develop a unique surf resort brand that positions Balong Balong at the top of every surfers bucket list whilst developing an identity that is as unique as its location.
Brand Development
Our team produced a comprehensive brand strategy and identity that holds true to Balong Balong’s characteristics. We designed a suite of assets including their website, image library, visitor welcome packs, signage and merchandise – all inspired by surf culture and the rustic charm of the location.
Logo
Taking inspiration from the world-class surf break which the location is famous for, we designed a brand that is as unique as its location. The logo depicts the iconic headland, surf break and sunset location which is partnered with bold typography to create an authentic and memorable brand.
