When we were engaged by South Bank to develop the 2021 retail marketing strategy for their eatSouthBank brand, we poured ourselves a tall beer and let the creative juices flow. With events and tourism at the core of what we do, we knew we had snagged the right brief.
We presented a suite of strategic recommendations, one of which was a gourmet sausage and beer festival. The concept was to create a more international take on Oktoberfest where restaurants of all nationalities could compete for developing the best home-made sausage.
To kick this campaign off with a bang(er), in partnership with Uno Momento and The Charming Squire, we launched in the form of a mini festival where the public could enjoy a day on the lawns with live music, alfresco lounging and gourmet sausages with craft beer pairings.
