eatSouthBank is about unearthing all that’s fantastic about South Bank's dining hub. It’s a guide for where to go, what to eat and what to see, throughout the precinct's 27 hectares. Our brief was to create an entirely new website that utilised the existing eatSouthBank brand, and drive visitation to restaurants and the car park, whilst increasing database acquisition and improving the overall customer experience.
Our UX process established that this huge precinct, with over 80 restaurants, required significant context, categorisation and search functionality to guide users effectively. The result was a super clean, responsive design with custom interactive maps, intuitive and powerful search functionality, restaurant listings, events, articles, a parking portal and plenty of opportunities for readers to sign up and win.
Video Content
To better present the South Bank customer experience and provide a snapshot of the various attractions on offer, we shot a stunning home page video featuring epic drone footage, intimate dining scenes and beautiful green spaces.
Interactive Map
We designed and developed a sophisticated interactive map to help users explore everything the South Bank precinct has to offer. A location enabled application that identifies your position through google maps, helping to discover what’s available and how to get there.
Intuitive Search
Searching within categories such as events or restaurants was made easier and more relevant by using insightful categories such as food nationality, cheap eats and even restaurant vibe.
